So welcome to my bikers (mostly cruisers) hangout...Some people ask me why do I ride. The standard reply is "if I have to explain, you wouldn't understand." Well, maybe I can explain.... Or at least try... A bike is more than just transportation. Actually, it transports you to a different state of mind. With over 2 million miles of paved roads in the United States, there is one way to satisfy that deep inner yearning known as wonder lust......just climb on and ride. Go where the road leads, follow the feeling...

| | My
wife once said to me that I didn't just buy a bike, I became a
biker. I guess that sort of sums it up for me and others of my
ilk. For us, the bike is admission into the culture that
transcends race, religion, politics and many other socially imposed
constructs. Once you become a biker, you dawn a new sense of
freedom and purpose. You become a bit closer to entirely
mastering your destiny.

| I mostly ride in Northern Virginia,
Maryland, Delaware and good West Virginia. We have lots of riders
here and many fun activities.

Places to go. Places to see. The highway, my Harley... and me.
Now you know what I ride and where I ride, here are some of the people, places and organizations that enrich my expirences
The Gate Keepers American Motorcyclist Association - focuses on rights, riding and racing through its government relations work. A really cool organization with lots of news, member discounts and race events.
ABATE of VA - VA Freedom Riders Riders against Constitutional Erosion (VFR-R.A.C.E). A grassroots state motorcycle rights organization.
The Care Takers Bikers With Heart - Located at Fire Up Thunder Out. The premier bike and car show promoters for the Mid Atlantic region. Check out the link on their page to the Fallen Biker Memorial. It is quite touching.
Bikers Against Drunk Driving - B.A.D.D. is a non-profit registered organization. The mission is to increase awareness and to assist victoms of this hazzard. The organization is in Canada, but the problem is everywhere.
Injured Bikers - A place where injured bikers can go and socialize while they heal from injuries. Lots of disability support information. Hey this is one of those sites that you'll never know when you might need it. So support it!
The Fraternities Ah, yes, the guys and ladies with whom I ride and party and bond:
H.O.G. Group Of Fairfax, VA If you want to meet a great bunch of bikers, look no farther. They have either a ride or a party going on just about 24/7.
Southern Cruisers Riding Club (SCRC) A great group open to all who are interested in group riding. They have lots of social events and it is family oriented
The Spiritual Ones Some may think Christian Bike clubs are an oxymoron, but that is for the uninformed. If you have wondered what makes these groups tick this link may help. http://www.cmausa.org/ We have a chapter in Northern VA
